Woodbury Senior Center
Today's older adults are staying independent through healthy aging and by leading rich, full lives. Here at the Center, our goal is to support older adults by providing resources, classes, programs and services to help them stay strong, healthy and independent across the lifespan. From health services, like blood pressure checks and diabetes education, to fitness classes and wellness programs, we offer a wide range of health and wellness opportunities. At the Center you can find a class to keep your brain sharp, learn new technology, or polish up an old skill. Here you can meet a friend, attend a class, or book a trip. We promote healthy aging and independence by addressing those issues that concern many older adults - fall prevention, navigating health care systems, maintaining nutrition, avoiding financial exploitation, and more. When times are difficult, we provide resources, information and referrals for older adults and their families - on topics such as finding new living arrangements, preventing elder abuse, managing health issues, finding support, and more. Knowing that social connections are vital to healthy aging, members will find a wealth of opportunities or make a friend and connect with the community. Our services and programs are open to all those age 60 and better. . The Center is a vibrant, warm and friendly place -won't you join us?
